B) OBIETTIVI DA CONSEGUIRE
1. Competenze e capacità

Comprensione orale: comprendere messaggi  su argomenti noti e pronunciate a velocità normali pronunciate anche da native speakers.

Produzione orale: produrre messaggi accettabili , anche personali, sostenendo brevi conversazioni su argomenti di vita quotidiana, interagendo sia in coppia che in gruppo.

Comprensione scritta: Intuire il significato di un testo scritto anche se non tutti i vocaboli sono noti e comprenderne lo scopo comunicativo

Produzione scritta: produrre frasi e messaggi concreti anche personali in un contesto comunicativo ; rispondere in modo adeguato a domande relative ad un brano scritto.

2. Conoscenze

Saranno prese in considerazione tutte le aree di contenuto previste dalla  programmazione di Dipartimento che per quanto riguarda l'inglese ha come punto di riferimento il livello B1 definito dal Consiglio d’Europa e corrispondente alla certificazione esterna PET (Preliminary English Test).

Saranno prese in considerazione tutte le aree di contenuto previste dalla programmazione di Dipartimento
D) CRITERI PER LO SVOLGIMENTO DEI PROGRAMMI
1. Metodi e strumenti di lavoro e di verifica: 

 

Metodologia

A livello metodologico, si alterneranno: lezione frontale e partecipata; continue esercitazioni sia durante le lezioni sia in forma di compito che verrà corretto nelle lezioni successive; attività a gruppi e guidate.

Strumenti

Testi adottati: Performer B1 Two Zanichelli sia cartaceo che in versione digitale, materiale multimediale (audio, video, film, documentari, CD), materiale autentico (interviste, articoli, etc) che verrà fornito a seconda delle necessità o delle occasioni per adeguarlo all’andamento della classe.

Per l’approfondimento di grammatica: Mastering Grammar – Pearson. Il testo servirà principalmente per il lavoro a casa per recupero, ripasso, rinforzo e/o potenziamento.

Valutazione e verifica

La valutazione, sia formativa che sommativa, sarà svolta in itinere e alla fine di ogni argomento. Le verifiche saranno sia scritte che orali e verteranno sugli stessi argomenti trattati nelle singole unità didattiche. Saranno di tipo grammaticale con esercizi di completamento, di trasformazione o sostituzione o di comprensione di un brano con questionario o un ascolto in lingua inglese. Si proporrà anche una produzione di dialoghi o di una semplici testo su argomenti specifici abbastanza semplice.

E ) CRITERI DI VALUTAZIONE

I criteri di valutazione sono quelli indicati nel POF di Classe.

F) PROGRAMMA

Dopo una prima fase di conclusione delle degli argomenti delle unità 9,10,11,12  contenuti nel testo Performer b1 vol 1 non svolte  durante l'anno scorso  e dopo verifica, verranno affrontate tutte le unità di Performer B1   vol two.

Unit 1 : Now and then

Vocabulary: Household chores- Household objects-gadgets

Communication: asking about past habit- Comparing past and present

Grammar: Tense  revision . present and past - used to- indefinite pronouns

Unit 2 : Your money

Vocabulary : Money-payment-bargains

Communication : making choices

Grammar: Present perfect continuous-for/since- defining relative clauses-question tags

Unit 3 : Techie life

Vocabulary Technologie- the internet - touch screeen actions

Communication: Talking about  how to operate things and expressing purpose

Grammar: Present perfect simple vs present perfect continuous- Non defining relative clauses - infinitive of purpose

Unit 4 : Town and around

Vocabulary:  around the town - sightseeing - adjectives to describe places

Grammar: zero-first conditionals-When, unless, as soos as before...  Modal verbs of deduction ,degree modifiers

Communication: agreeing./desagreing and contradicting  people

Unit 5 : Healthy body and mind . 

Vocabulary : The body.- health problems- tratment and remedies

Communication: talking about health

Grammar: second conditional - modal verbs of advice- should,ought to - had better other expressions for giving advice

Unit 6:  Crime doesn't pay

Vocabulary : crime and criminals expressing disaproval and regret in the past -law and justice- Punishment in school

Grammar: past perfect- past perfect vs past simple- third conditional- Expressing disapproval and regret in the past

Communication : arguing

Unit 7: Our Planet

Vocabulary : Ecology- natural disasters-renewable energy

Communication : Asking for repetition and clarification. Restating what has been said

Grammar: The gerung (-ing form) and the infinitive ( with to), the and zero article, reflexive and reciprocal pronouns

Unit 8: Art and beauty

Vocabulary : the human face - visual arts-beauty treatments

Communication : Describing things and processes

Grammar : The passive(I)- present simple and past simple- ability in the past. Have/get something done.

Unit 9:  Animals and us 

Vocabulary : Animals - animal sounds- testing with animals

Communication : Sympathising

Grammar : the passive (II) all tenses- modal verbs of deduction in the past- passive (III)- sentences with two objects

Unit 10:  My media

Vocabulary: Old and  new media ,news, teen topics

Communication : Expressing facts and opinion

Grammar: Say/tell,reported speech, reported questions, linkers of cause and result

Unit 11: The way I feel

Vocabulary: feelings and emotions, happiness, personal opinions- 

Communication; asking, giving and refusing permission

Grammar : Causative verbs : May,get, have..... verbs os perception,  let and allow

Unit 12: The world I dream of 

Vocabulary : the word of advertising- Do/make- phrasal verbs with get

Grammar:  I wish - phrasal verbs-  prefer would prefer, would rather

Communication : Expressing wishes
